Product features
  • Flooring type: all hard-surface flooring such as wood, PVC, vinyl, exposed concrete, PU/epoxy cast floors, ceramic tiles, etc.

Important information

Ensure that the pressure is distributed evenly beneath the leg so that the plastic does not come into contact with the floor.

The base unit is fitted with an adhesive strip and comes with two self-tapping screws.

The adhesive strip can only be used on steel and metal (make sure the surface is thoroughly degreased). On all other surfaces, the base unit must be screwed into place.

Please note that our glides require occasional maintenance.

Mounting instructions
  1. Clean and degrease the metal/steel surface to be adhered, for example with an alcohol wipe. Adhering to other materials is not possible; the base part must be screwed on instead.
  2. Remove the protective film and firmly adhere the base part to the surface. For wood and plastic, this step prevents the base part from shifting until it is screwed on.
  3. If necessary, use a drill to pre-drill a 3 mm diameter hole through each screw hole of the base part. (Optional for metal surfaces)
  4. Carefully screw in the 2 supplied screws until the screw heads are fully countersunk in the base part. (Optional for metal surfaces)
  5. Click the protective foot onto the base part until it is secure.

Not every chair has a round tubular frame. That’s why glides have also been developed for rectangular tubular frames. They are precisely shaped to fit the chair, ensuring a secure and stable fit.
