If the diameter of your cantilever chair’s round tube frame differs from the sizes of the clamp shell glides we offer, always choose the Chairfixx one size larger than the tube. This adhesive foam tape is 1 mm thick and therefore helps to bridge this difference in order to achieve a precise fit and steady grip. Thanks to its transparency, the foam tape is almost invisible. This means that it can be applied discreetly to surfaces of all colors.

Please note: This adhesive tape can only be used for tube sizes that are smaller than the Chairfixx’s clamp shell and is not a replacement for the pin!

Mounting instructions:
Please follow the steps below in order to mount the Chairfixx on a smaller tube size using the adhesive foam tape:

  1. Remove the pin from the Chairfixx, if present, by gently moving it back and forth.
  2. Cut the tape. The tape is 1 mm thick. Example: If the round tube has a diameter of 18 mm, order the Chairfixx 19 mm and use 1 piece of tape. If the difference is 2 mm, cut 2 strips of tape and stick them together.
  3. Stick it on the tube and remove the protective film.
  4. Now clip the Chairfixx on the tube.
