The base part is equipped with a self-adhesive strip and additionally comes with two self-tapping screws.

The self-adhesive strip is only suited for use on metal surfaces (degrease thoroughly prior to applying the base part). On all other surfaces such as plastic or wood, the base part must be mounted with the provided screws.

Mounting instructions:
Please follow the steps below in order to mount the Minifixx:

  1. Degrease the surface thoroughly, e.g. with an alcohol wipe or another degreaser. When the surface is made of plastic (PP or PE), a primer for PP/PE needs to be applied first!
  2. Remove the protective sheet from the base part’s adhesive strip and press the base part on the surface firmly. On surfaces made of wood or plastic, this step holds the base part in place until it is fastened with the screws.
  3. Optional for metal: Pre-drill small holes of 3 mm in diameter, through the screw holes of the base part, into the surface.
  4. Optional for metal: Screw the 2 provided screws into the surface until the screws are flush with the base part.
  5. Click the glide foot onto the base part until it is locked in place.

Maintenance:
In order for the glides to protect your floor effectively as long as possible, regular cleaning is advised. Use a vacuum cleaner, brush or wet cloth to remove debris, and allow the polyamide fibres to recover.
